After
its huge success in Istanbul, New Yorker
Restaurant and Suleyman Nazif (bar) have
spread their wings and established a fine
venue on the Turkbuku coast, joining together
with Ada Hotel.
Like
all the other restaurants in the area, New
Yorker/Suleyman Nazif has its own swimming-deck
which you can dine on in the evenings. However,
the main dining area is in the garden on
shore under a huge tree which gives solace
during the warmer parts of the day.
The
restaurant serves American and Italian cuisine
with a strong influence on seafood, and
the pizza from the stone oven is highly
recommended. The bar serves both local and
international drinks, and for those of you
who would like something unusual, ask for
Sex on the Ada Beach which is a mix of Vodka,
Archers, and pomegranate juice. Service
is fast and friendly and the atmosphere
is classy but comfortable. Special emphasis
is paid to the volume of the music - unlike
most venues, you can actually hear yourself
think! The genres of music played are Latin,
Jazz and Azeri. In the later part of the
night, the music gets a little louder so
be prepared to dance on the deck under moonlight!
